How to complete only some order types
Complete only virtual, downloadable, physical or mixed orders.
Use Order Types to choose which kinds of orders complete, such as downloadable or virtual only.
Step 1: Open the settings
Go to WooCommerce → Autocomplete Orders → Settings.
Step 2: Choose Include or Exclude
Include completes only matching orders. Exclude completes everything else.
Step 3: Pick the values
Select the values from the list, then click Save.

Choose downloadable and virtual orders so digital purchases complete instantly, while physical orders wait to be shipped.
